Day 2 Box Office Results For Dream Girl 2: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Movie Has A Great First Saturday In India

The public has fallen in love with Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the sequel to the movie Dream Girl, “Dream Girl 2.” On August 25, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, playing the parts of Pooja/Karam and Pari, respectively, greeted the screens with this comedic sequel. The film had a solid opening weekend at the box office, earning around Rs 10.69 crore nett on the first day in India.

Raaj Shaandilyaa has released ‘Dream Girl 2’ in 2023 as a follow-up to the popular film ‘Dream Girl’ from the previous year. The sequel’s voyage got off to a strong start. ‘Dream Girl 2’ amassed an amazing amount of Rs 14 crore in India on its second day, according to early estimates on Sachnilk.com. The movie has now made a total of Rs 24.69 crore. The movie had a 41.40 percent total occupancy percentage on Saturday.

The occupancy rate started off at 20.71% during the morning screenings and increased over time to 37.22% in the afternoon. The occupancy percentage for evening screenings was 47.12%, while the greatest occupancy rate for nocturnal screenings was 60.53%.

Ayushmann Khurrana plays Karam, a young guy from a tiny hamlet in Mathura who desires to live a simple life, in “Dream Girl 2,” which continues his journey. His journey, however, takes a surprising turn when he falls in love with Pari (played by Ananya Panday), but events appear to scupper his sincerity at every turn. After a series of unexpected events, Karam decides to take the name Pooja, which causes even more turmoil in his already turbulent existence.

‘Dream Girl 2’, directed by Raaj Shaandilya, was produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the auspices of Balaji Motion Pictures. The film also stars Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Manjot Singh in addition to Ayushmann Khurrana.
