Day two box office receipts for Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan’s movie sees a little decline on Friday, earning Rs 20 crore

The Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Shah Rukh Khan film Dunki released to a mixed bag of reviews. However, after a strong first day, the film had a little decline on its second day. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan would find the box office collecting numbers for the second day a little disappointing.

The industry tracker Sacnilk states that Dunki’s early estimate is Rs 20 crores. Dunki, which was released on December 21, brought in Rs 29.20 crores on Thursday and Rs 20 crores on Friday. Dunki has made Rs 49.20 crores from all the languages in only two days. The action movie Salaar, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is undoubtedly one of the main causes of Dunki’s collecting decline. The Prashanth Neel-directed film debuted to a resounding reception and glowing reviews from the general public.

Not only has Salaar failed to find an audience in the South, but it has also failed to find an audience in Hindi. This tendency suggests that Salaar could defeat Dunki this next weekend.

In terms of parallels, the box office receipts for Shah Rukh Khan’s last movie, Jawan, likewise decreased. Pathaan, SRK’s first film, took in Rs 57 crores at the opening and Rs 70.50 crores on its second day. Jawan, Shah Rukh’s second film, took in Rs 75 crores at the opening and 53 crores on its second day.

Prithviraj acknowledged to News18 that he is a big admirer of Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan and that he would see Dunki. “I’m very excited to see Dunki very much. Along with Rajkumar Hirani, of course, I’m a major admirer of Shah Rukh Khan.” The actor went on to say that the Christmas weekend has grown and improved as a result of these large releases. Along with Dunki and Salaar, Mohanlal’s Neru will also be released in Kerela. “As a film lover, I think this is the greatest holiday season ever in Kerala,” he remarked, referring to the biggies’ clash. Neru, Dunki, and Salaar are here. Three highly anticipated box office titles are on display. I am watching all three, but I don’t know anything about you.”
