Dhanush Enters the Polling Booth for the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 Accompanied by a Security Team, Police Hold Paps at Bay
Dhanush has participated in the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 by casting his ballot. The popular Tamil actor was seen arriving at a Chennai voting place early on Friday morning to cast his ballot. Dhanush’s bodyguards were all around him. A video that went viral on X, the old name for Twitter, showed Dhanush and his security detail pulling up to the voting place in his fancy automobile. The police officers were positioned at the voting place and Dhanush’s team assisted in restraining the paparazzi.
The star was spotted giving his vote and smiling for photographers with an inked finger. Shortly after the superstar Rajinikanth, his erstwhile father-in-law, was photographed voting at a polling place, Dhanush was also observed.
In the meantime, Rajinikanth was seen visiting a Stella Maris College voting place in Chennai. The star was spotted entering the voting booth in pictures and videos that went viral online, and he was immediately surrounded.
Rajinikanth was shown waiting for his time to cast a ballot in a video that was posted on X. After the procedure was complete, he displayed his tattooed finger. Rajinikanth talked with the reporters as he was leaving. He asked everyone to vote in his message to the media. He said that declaring one has not cast a ballot is not a sign of pride. He went on to say that voting is a civic obligation and he encouraged everyone to do so.
Stars like Ajith Kumar, Ilayaraja, Sarath Kumar, Radhika Sarath Kumar, and Sivakarthikeyan were also seen voting in Chennai in addition to Dhanush and Rajinikanth.
On Friday, April 19, the first round of the seven-phase voting process started. One of the earliest states to hold elections is Tamil Nadu.
