Gwen Stefani and Blink-182 will headline the South Star Festival in Alabama

It seems that Gwen Stefani’s solo tour may have been promoted by No Doubt’s thrilling Coachella shows, as the South Star Festival in Huntsville, Alabama revealed on Tuesday that Stefani and Blink-182 would be the two featured acts. On September 28 and 29, the event is held at the city’s John Hunt Park.

Twenty artists will be performing at the ’90s-themed event, including Big Boi, Gin Blossoms, Pete Yorn, Vanessa Carlton, Winona Fighter, Bully, Dexter & Moonrocks, Jane’s Addiction, Sublime, Goo Goo Dolls, Jimmy Eat World, TLC, Ludacris, Beck, and the 400 Degreez Band.

According to Matt Mandrella, the city’s music officer, “it’s an exciting time for music in Huntsville, and we look forward to welcoming music fans and visitors alike to John Hunt Park in September.”

The release reads, “The area takes football season seriously and so does South Star Festival.” In addition to live music, the event will include a sports bar on site that will allow attendees to watch the major football games without having to leave the park.
