‘I Was More Hyper & Anxious,’ Kareena Kapoor reveals as to why she doesn’t want to be 21 again

Actresses like Kareena Kapoor have managed to maintain a healthy balance between their personal and professional life. The actress, who has over 23 years of experience in the business, has already won over viewers with her roles in Jaane Jaan and Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress recently said in an interview that she is content to accept  her age and doesn’t want to be 21 again while she waits for her next movie, Crew.

“Today’s audience has become accepting,” Kareena Kapoor said in conversation with the ABP Ideas conference. Since it’s a visual medium, age is merely a number that determines how old you seem. Therefore, we must take care of ourselves. I’m delighted that I don’t want to ever be 21 years old again. I’ve come a long way from being frenetic and worried at age 21 to being more calmer and happier now that I’m in my 40s.

“I think it has changed because a lot of strong women have done a lot of strong parts in films,” said Kareena Kapoor in reference to the fact that female performers are now receiving increasingly major roles in a profession that was formerly dominated by males. They have produced movies that have done well at the box office, among reviewers, the general public, and audiences.

Therefore, prominent ladies like myself, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, and Kangana Ranaut have always strived to support parts that go beyond just appearing in the movie. Therefore, a lot of things have changed in terms of the dynamics, such as expecting a certain job, payment, or position,” she said.

“Crew,” which was directed by Rajesh Krishnan, was filmed in Mumbai and other cities in India. The movie, which is slated for release on March 29, 2024, is expected to be a massive release from Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network. It promises endless fun on a gigantic screen.
