Kareena Kapoor Khan says, “God, how I loved playing Dolly,” in a throwback video from Omkara

Unquestionably, one of the best actresses in the business is Kareena Kapoor Khan. Her unique on-screen personas have made a lasting impression on her admirers. Kareena posted a little clip from her highly regarded movie Omkara on Tuesday. The actress spoke about how much she loved and missed playing the part of Dolly, which is still one of her most well-known roles.

She posted the video, which was an edit of her sequences from Omkara, on her Instagram stories with the caption, “God how I loved playing Dolly.” Omkara, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, and Vivek Oberoi, is directed by the well-known Vishal Bhardwaj. The context of the story is Uttar Pradesh’s political underbelly. When it was released in 2006, the movie was a financial hit. Kareena’s role in the movie was adored by the audience.

When Crew, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, was released on March 29, it was met with enthusiastic reviews from the general public. After a very strong opening weekend, the movie brought in Rs 32.60 crore in revenue during its first weekend in India. On the other hand, the movie’s opening Monday receipts saw a 60% decline, and the pattern of declining profits continued from Tuesday through Thursday. On Day 7 of its release, the movie made a total of Rs 3 crore, according to Sacnilk.com.

Up to its seventh day, Rajesh A. Krishnan’s all-female lead picture Crew has brought in Rs 43.75 crore in India. However, as of now, its global collection has brought in Rs 82 crore. Remarkably, the movie debuted smoothly at the box office, grossing a total of Rs 62.53 crore around the globe.

As previously mentioned, Kareena Kapoor Khan will co-star with Yash in the film Toxic. Kareena is reportedly set to play the part of Yash’s sister. She is said to have a significant part in the movie as well. This is going to be Kareena’s first Kannada film, if the news is accurate.

“It is basically a brother-sister story with Yash and Kareena playing inseparable siblings,” a source told Times Now. Kareena was eager to work on Toxic from the beginning, according to the director. There were talks underway. Everyone assumed Kareena was being brought on board as Yash’s leading woman, but in reality, she was given the opportunity to play a far more significant part. She has never previously been seen in this manner. Shruti Haasan is reportedly in talks to play the main part in the meanwhile.
