Keerthy Suresh vs. Radhika Apte in the suspenseful revenge thriller series “Akka”
Actors Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte will compete in Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming intense vengeance thriller “Akka.”
According to a source, Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte are regarded as two of India’s most talented female performers at the moment. They are celebrated as pure tour de force on film after putting up amazing performances in project after project. They are extraordinarily gifted artists.”
“So, the fact that Keerthy and Radhika have been pitted against each other makes ‘Akka’ one of the most intriguing streaming projects being made in the country currently!”
“Dharmaraj Shetty, a disruptive creative genius discovered lately by Aditya Chopra, is spearheading the project as writer and director. Aditya was immediately drawn to his concept for Akka, and the project was given the go-ahead with Adi’s directive to turn “Akka” into one of YRF Entertainment’s largest tentpole series ever.”
“Every detail of this project will be kept under wraps purposely by YRF to build intrigue around this series,” said a source.
Mandala Murders, a multi-season series touted as a grimy murder thriller, is YRF Entertainment’s second offering. Vaani Kapoor and Vaibhav Raj Gupta (of Gullak fame) are the main actors. Jameel Khan (Gullak) and Surveen Chawla (Decoupled) play key parts. Production on the series is now underway.
