“Lawrence Bishnoi’s Man Coming to Mumbai for…”: After Salman Khan’s firing case, a phone call makes Mumbai police agitated

An unidentified caller informed the Mumbai police control room on Saturday that a “major incident” involving the man of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi was scheduled to occur in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Police claimed that the control room got the call and got in touch with the local police station.

A 20-year-old Ghaziabad resident was detained earlier on Friday for allegedly using the identity of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi to hire a taxi from Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence.

After a police inquiry, it was discovered that the accused had prank-booked the taxi in mobster Bishnoi’s identity.

Gunfire was heard outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai home in the early hours of April 14. According to preliminary reports from CNN-News18, the event happened at about 4:55 in the morning. Two people were seen on a motorbike when they fired three bullets into the air.

After then, a large police presence was seen outside the celebrity’s home, the Galaxy Apartments.

Salman Khan received a murder threat last year from Goldy Brar, a Canadian-based fugitive mobster, who publicly said that the Bollywood actor was on his gang’s assassination list.

After receiving an email threatening Salman Khan at his Mumbai home earlier in the year, Mumbai Police had already filed a formal complaint (FIR) against criminals Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar as well as another person.
