You have even more excuses to stay out of the sun now that a ton of films and TV series are making their way to Netflix. Those who are forced to fulfill their employment obligations may spend their nights binge-watching a variety of new stuff. Here is a list of 10 films and web series you may watch on the massive over-the-top service in May to aid you.

Heeramandi: The Bazaar of Diamonds

Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, and Farida Jalal are among the ensemble cast members in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali OTT first film that gives us an insight into the opulent lifestyle of courtesans. They negotiate the pre-Independence period’s love, betrayal, retaliation, and wrath. On May 1, Heeramandi is expected to captivate moviegoers.

Through the Rabbit Hole

Based on the same-titled book by Juan Pablo Villalobos, this Mexican family comedy-drama film is directed by Manolo Caro. The story immerses the viewer in the world of little Tochtli, who wants to adopt a pygmy hippo from Namibia and maintain it at the zoo. The movie, which stars Debi Mazar, Daniel Gimenez Cacho, Teresa Ruiz, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, will be available on Netflix on May 1.

Gorgeous Rebel

This Cinzia TH Torrini film, which is based on actual events, will take audiences on a trip through the life of Italy’s greatest rock singer, Gianna Nannini, and show them how she overcame many obstacles from the music industry and her family to become well-known. Letizia Toni plays the lead role in the film. The movie opens on May 2.

The Unusual Family

Starring in The Atypical Family, a new South Korean television series, are Jang Ki-yong, Claudia Kim, Go Doo-shim, and Chun Woo-hee. The story revolves on a family that was formerly gifted with superhuman abilities but lost them due to modern issues. However, once they meet an enigmatic lady, everything changes. On May 4, The Atypical Family debuts on Netflix.

The main cast of Mark Waters’ romantic comedy includes Benjamin Bratt, Miranda Cosgrove, and Brooke Shields. According to the summary of the movie, Emma, Lana’s daughter, declares that she is prepared to marry a stranger she met while visiting London. Things become tricky, however, when Lana finds out that the boy’s father is a guy who once crushed her heart. The movie will be available on Netflix on May 9.

Cooking Up Murder: Revealing César Román’s Story

The focus of this investigative documentary will be renowned Spanish chef Cesar Roma, who rose to popularity by adopting aliases and keeping secrets up until his unexplained death one day. It shows up on May 10.

Bridgerton (Part I of Season 3)

The audience may once again be entertained by the beloved royal performance. Complex personal connections and elite-class nobility are features of Chris Van Dusen’s historical drama. The third episode, which airs on May 16, will reveal how Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) go from a platonic friendship to a more passionate one.

Chaos Theory in Jurassic World

Eric

The title of this Holly Pullinger production, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, is unsettling: “The real monsters aren’t under the bed.” Six episodes make up the psychological thriller miniseries, which centers on puppeteer Vincent, who holds onto drawings of a blue puppet monster named Eric that his son made while he was gone, hoping that if Eric appeared on TV, his son would return. Eric will be available on May 30.
