Meet Salman, Aamir’s leading lady, who rose to fame with her first movie and then stepped away from acting after 20 box office disasters. She is now

Every actor aspires to be a star, and some are even successful with their first movie; yet, sustaining that fame thereafter becomes difficult. One such actress, who shot to fame with her first film, left Bollywood following a string of box office failures.

The actress in question has had successful roles opposite Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and other celebrities; nevertheless, after one film, her career took a negative turn. She is Ayesha Jhulka, that much is certain.

Due to disagreements with producer Kumar Mangat, Ayesha Jhulka was set to begin her career with Sunny Deol’s Narshima. However, Urmila Matondkar took her place. Later, in Kurbaan, she debuted in Bollywood with Salman Khan.

She became a celebrity overnight when the movie became a huge box office hit. Actually, it was because of this movie that Ayesha, starring with Aamir Khan, had her second success, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. With roles in movies such Khiladi, Mashook, Balma, Kohra, Meherbaan, Rang, Waqt Hamara Hai, and Sangram, the actress continues to thrive in Bollywood and achieve new heights in her career.

But Ayesha Jhulka signed a movie at the height of her success, and that’s when everything began to go wrong. The actress appeared on film with Mithun Chakraborty in Dalaal in 1993. Following the huge box office failure of the movie, Ayesha had just two hits during her career, with the majority of her productions being failures.

Following Dalaal, she had consecutive box office failures with Kaise Kaise Rishte, Aulad Ke Dushman, Maha Shaktishali, Ekka Raja Rani, Brahma, and Apne Dam Par till she had a breakthrough with Masoom. Following the success of her song Chachi 420, the actress gave 20 straight bad films, including Deewana Hoon Par Pagal Nahin, Dand-Nayak, Barood, Sar Utha Ke Jiyo, Mafia Raja, Himmatwala, Kahani Kismet Ki, Phool Aur Aaj, Hote Hote Pyaar Ho Gaya, Kohram, Sar Aankhon Par, Shikaar, Hadh, Censor, Amma, Aanch, Run, Kuchh Toh Gadbad Hai, Socha Na Tha, Double Cross, and more. She left Bollywood following her 2018 flick Genius, which was likewise a huge box office failure.

The actress hasn’t been in a movie yet, although she did return to acting in 2022 when she acted in the online series Happy Family: Conditions Apply and the series Hush.
