As a new development, the Mumbai Crime Branch has been to Surat in relation to the fire incident that occurred on April 14 outside of star Salman Khan’s home in order to look for the pistol that the accused used.

The suspects admitted to the Crime Branch during questioning that they had thrown the pistol into the Tapi River in Surat after carrying out the crime.

Around five in the morning on April 14, the two males, who arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire with four shots outside the actor’s apartment building, the Galaxy Apartments. After that, they ran away. The suspects both had bags and wore headgear, according to CCTV evidence.

The Mumbai crime branch said on Saturday that three more sections have been added to the FIR against the suspects, intensifying the investigation into the firing case at Salman Khan’s home.

The Indian Penal Code’s Sections 506(2) (threatening), 115 (abetment), and 201 (tampering with evidence) have been added to the case. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi have been listed as wanted suspects in connection with the crime, according to Mumbai Crime Branch police.

Anmol posted on Facebook after the incident, claiming to be the one who fired outside Salman’s home.

The two suspects were taken into custody by Kutch Police earlier, and they were sent over to the Mumbai Crime Branch. In relation to the firing incident, a municipal court later sent the two suspects to the Mumbai Crime Branch’s custody till April 25.

Following a medical test, the accused—Vicky Gupta, 24, and Sagar Pal, 21, both of Bihar—were brought before the court.
