Poonam Pandey gets into serious trouble and is facing a defamation lawsuit of Rs. 100 crore for pretending to be dead

It has been claimed that a defamation suit for Rs 100 crore has been launched against Poonam Pandey and her former spouse Sam Bombay, after the actress’s staged suicide a few days ago. Faizan Ansari filed the complaint, according to Pinkvilla’s report. By pretending to be dead, he charged Poonam Pandey of “trivializing the seriousness of cancer and manipulating the emotions and trust of millions.” Per reports, he has also pushed for Pandey and her ex-husband to be taken into custody by the police.

Ansari has also reported something to the Commissioner of Police in Kanpur. Poonam Pandey staged her death with the help of her husband Sam Bombay, making light of a grave condition such as cancer. The FIR said that Poonam Pandey betrayed the confidence of millions of Indians and the Bollywood business by arranging this act for her own popularity.

For those who don’t know, Poonam Pandey revealed her “death” in a post that was uploaded on her official Instagram account on February 2. We’re having a difficult morning. We are so sorry to notify you that Poonam, our darling, passed away from cervical cancer. She greeted every living thing that had touched her with unadulterated love and compassion. We would respectfully ask for privacy at this time of loss as we cherish everything that we have together,” the message said.

But the actress stepped out one day later and said in a video message that she was still alive. She maintained that the announcement of her death was intended to raise awareness of cervical cancer. Not everyone liked it, and the actress was criticized by a number of celebrities, including Karan Kumar and Kangana Ranaut.

Subsequently, the actress-model faced demands from the All Indian Cine Workers Association to file a formal complaint (FIR), citing her acts as “highly wrong” and “unacceptable.” The film industry group demanded that Poonam’s manager and herself both face legal action. “No one in the film industry stoops to such levels,” they said, denouncing the PR trick.
