Ramsey, Partridge, and Stokes become new members of the Jaques “Sunny Dancer” cast

The stars of a new movie called Sunny Dancer are Bella Ramsay, Louis Partridge, and Ruby Stokes. His second feature picture, a coming-of-age drama, is directed by George Jaques.

The film centers on Ivy (Ramsey), a teenage girl in cancer remission, and her brilliantly outspoken mother and well-meaning father demand she go to Children Run Free Camp, a summer retreat for young people with cancer. Reluctantly being dragged through the camp experience, she learns that things are not always as horrible as they appear as she makes new friends and feels new emotions.

Ramsay’s most well-known roles are those of Ellie in the post-apocalyptic series The Last of Us and Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones, for which she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress.

Stokes most recently starred in Black Dog and The Burning Girls with Samantha Morton and Conrad Khan.

Partridge featured in both of the Netflix original Enola Holmes movies. She will also be seen in the forthcoming thriller series Disclaimer, directed by Alfonso Cuaron and starring Cate Blanchett and Sacha Baron Cohen, and in a film by Noah Baumbach, starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler.
