Ranveer Singh expresses his “deep appreciation” for all that PM Narendra Modi has done to improve Kashi in only ten years

Actor Ranveer Singh praised PM Narendra Modi for his efforts to build public infrastructure and the world’s oldest pilgrimage sites during a recent visit to Varanasi with Bollywood diva Kriti Sanon and renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra. For Manish Malhotra’s fashion show in the city, Ranveer and Kriti both stole the show.

“We deeply appreciate everything Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done to protect and promote the weaver community (of Varanasi),” Ranveer said in an interview with ANI on Sunday. In the last ten years, he has significantly altered Kashi’s appearance.”

The actor went on, “The event was amazing,” regarding Manish Malhotra’s exhibition in the city, which had as its subject “Banarasi Saree: A tapestry of Indian culture and craftsmen.” It felt a million times better to walk the Ganga ramp than it did to stroll around Mumbai’s five-star restaurants. The wonderful skill of our weaving community was on display at this occasion.”

“It is very important to take pride in the rich cultural heritage of our country,” the actor remarked, urging the young to be attentive to and conscious of the nation’s past while adjusting to contemporary trends and methods. This is a highly important month. Remember what you are responsible for at all times. The future of Bharat is with you. Recognise your responsibilities and cast your ballot.”

The two performers’ exquisite traditional clothing served as a representation of Indian workmanship. Kriti also shared her thoughts on how Varanasi is evolving and what makes the Banarasi saree so exquisite.

The newest Instagram story from Kriti Sanon.
Wearing handwoven clothing has always been a dream of mine, as it represents our culture and tradition. The fact that the weavers create only one saree per kind is the nicest thing about the Banarasi saree. A single piece of weaving takes days. It’s time to take this thing global. I’m happy I could take part in this endeavour. Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi, or development while simultaneously guaranteeing the preservation of history, is shown by Kashi. Kashi has seen extensive expansion during the last ten years, yet its essence has not changed.”

The Indian Minorities Foundation arranged a two-day event on April 13 and 14, including a fashion presentation by Manish Malhotra, with the aim of promoting Varanasi handicrafts and handlooms. The venue for the event was Namo Ghat.
