‘RRR’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiyawadi’ Win the Most Technical Awards at the 69th National Film Awards

The 69th National Film Awards were revealed on Thursday, marking the beginning of the celebration of film one day after Chandrayaan-3’s safe landing on the south pole of the moon. As they competed for top technical honors, the movies “Gangubai Kathiawadi” by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and “RRR,” the crowning achievement of S.S.

Both directors are renowned for the grandeur and “larger than life” style of their films. Consequently, it becomes much more exciting to watch them clash.

The Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Makeup, Best Editing, and Best Dialogue awards went to SLB’s “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” while the Best Choreography, Best Special Effects, and Best Stunt Choreography awards went to “RRR.”

Even yet, ‘RRR’ edged out ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Best Music Direction (Background Music), and Best Male Playback Singer to Kaala Bhairava for ‘Komuram Bheemudo’ outside of the technical categories.

Even so, Alia Bhatt shared the Best Actress prize for “Gangubai Kathiawadi” with Kriti Sanon for “Mimi.”
