Regarding filming intimate scenes for “The Trial,” Aamir Ali says, “I was anxious, but Kubbra Sait helped me”

Actor Aamir Ali recently appeared as a detective in Disney+Hotstar’s “The Trial.” For his performance, Aamir has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. He recently told Outlook that he is enjoying the OTT sector and that, given the feedback he has received, he is enjoying it even more right now. You need a little push, some feedback, and a positive reaction to what you’re doing. I feel much better today with this type of reaction,” he said.

Aamir said of his role as a police officer, which is quite unlike to Bajrang Panday in “FIR,” “In my opinion, it was a risk that I took and the filmmaker also took. I played a police part in OTT 18 years ago, and people still remember it. OTT has since become more character-driven. I’m still referred to as Bajrang Panday. Hats off to the director for thinking of me and casting me, leaving behind the Bajrang Panday label and just seeing me as an actor and presenting me as a performer. Then to do a police character that is again a total difference and extremely serious.

Ali also mentioned how challenging it was for him at first to enter the OTT arena. “When I took a break from TV, I initially met a lot of makers, and they used to meet me very nicely,” he said. I assumed that my job would be completed based on the responses I used to get from them, which included statements about their daughters, moms, and other fans. But finally they realized that I belonged in the role of a hero and couldn’t picture myself portraying a certain character. I didn’t get a part. Then you’ll need some brave producers to let go of your TV reputation and cast you in parts where they believe they can surprise both the audience and themselves. I have a few creators who have put their faith in me, and when a few projects come in this year, things will look different. You will now see considerably more as a result.

Aamir Ali and Kubbra Sait have a few private moments in the movie “The Trial.” The former never performed anything similar on camera, and he acknowledged feeling ‘apprehensive’ at first. “I have never carried out anything like. I had my doubts, but you have to have faith in the creator. When doing a program like this, you know it won’t seem sleazy and isn’t even near to sleaziness. The creator and director advise to trust them since they will film it artistically. It’s not your ordinary sex program. As a result, I felt assured when I saw all of those things, and we carried it out so nonchalantly that nobody barely noticed. Although I was a little anxious, Kubbra was there to support me. She didn’t seem anxious, so I’m not sure whether she was or not,” he stated.

Among the stars of “The Trial” are Kajol, Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chadha, and Alyy Khan.
