Released on the same day, Kriti Sanon and Nupur Sanon’s films failed at the box office

Kriti Sanon and Nupur Sanon, two actors, had a huge day on October 20. The day was noteworthy since it was the premiere of their individual films, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Ganapath: A Hero Is Born. While the Mimi actress and her Heropanti co-star Tiger Shroff reunited in Ganapath, Nupur Sanon made her screen debut in the Ravi Teja film. Fans and audiences had been giddy with anticipation for the film’s arrival. Sadly, none of these films was successful at the box office.

Tiger Nageswara Rao and Ganapath both had bright futures and were predicted to be box office successes. The Telugu action-thriller period film reportedly had mixed reviews from reviewers, and Ganapath, starring National Award-winning actress Anuja Patil, failed at the box office due to reviews that were all unfavorable.

The production of Ganapath was funded by around Rs 150–200 crore. It may be able to bring in Rs 12.48 crore at the global box office, according to sources. The film barely managed to recoup 6% of its production costs from its meager export receipts. However, Tiger Nageswara Rao was produced with a Rs 50 crore budget. Its gross profits in India are reportedly Rs 40.8 crore, while its global collections are Rs 44.8 crore.

A post-apocalyptic dystopian action thriller, Ganapath: A Hero is Born was written and directed by Vikas Bahl, who previously made the highest-grossing Indian film with a female protagonist, Queen, starring Kangana Ranaut. Under the auspices of Good Co and Pooja Entertainment, Vikas Bahl, Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh are supporting the film. In addition to Kriti Sanon, Amitabh Bachchan, Elli AvrRam, and Gauahar Khan in important parts, the film stars Tiger Shroff in two roles. The film takes place in the far future of 2070, when Guddu transforms into Ganapath, a hero who saves his people from evildoers.

Vamsee is the writer and director of the action-thriller film Tiger Nageswara Rao. Under the name Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Abhishek Agarwal finances it. Ravi Teja, Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta, Nupur Sanon, Renu Desai, Gayatri Bhardwaj, and Murali Sharma are the film’s main stars. It is said to be based on a real-life robber named Tiger Nageswara Rao, who became a local legend after pulling off daring heists that he executed with cunning.
