Taeyong from NCT was seen at the ROK Navy’s new recruit welcoming ceremony with an armband of the platoon commander

Taeyong of NCT once again shown his innate leadership skills during the ROK Navy’s new recruit welcome ceremony on April 24. The NCT commander, wearing a blue wristband that identified him as the “New Recruit 2nd Squadron Platoon Leader,” stood out among the other recruits in the front row.

 

With his fellow enlistees, Taeyong demonstrated unflinching determination and calm as he took the pledge.
Taeyong’s required military duty was completed earlier this month on April 15, which coincides with his public debut. In addition, his discharge date is December 14, 2025.

Social media users are gushing over Taeyong and applauding his commitment and performance while serving in the military. He tries his best wherever he goes, a fan cried; “He promised us and he proved it, he’s doing soooo wellll.” Another admirer said of Taeyong’s young look, “he’s aging backwards,” and said, “TAEYONG I’M SO PROUD OF YOU.” His leadership abilities were also highlighted by admirers, who proclaimed him to be “born to be leader, LEE TAEYONG.”

In agreement, another admirer says, “I’m happy to hear he’s doing well and I’m proud of you, Taeyong.” “OMG Taeyong platoon leader!” yells another fan, demonstrating the tangible enthusiasm. Another admirer remarks, “The way Taeyong is standing in front of all these men as their platoon leader…,” noticing Taeyong’s authoritative presence. I’m so happy for him.
