Terence Lewis Likens ‘India’s Best Dancer 3’ Contestant’s Act To Hollywood Dancers Fred Astaire And Gene Kelly

Terence Lewis, a renowned choreographer and judge on “India’s Best Dancer 3,” praised the epic competition between candidates Anjali Mamgai and Aniket Chauhan, who would duel to the rhythms of well-known songs including “Mayya Mayya,” “Darling,” and “Jai Jai Shivshankar.”

In a head-to-head competition, they will test each other’s dance prowess and accuracy in the forthcoming episode, giving it their all in a heart-pounding “Kaddi Takkar.”

“Aniket, if I may say that the solo you performed during your audition left us with nothing to compare with,” Terence commented in reference to their performance. You were given a straight entrance to the top 12 for that performance. And today’s solo was pure magic, I have to say. The simplicity of the situation was breathtaking.

“When the words ceased and simply the music played, I truly enjoyed that portion. I loved the way your legs moved, the slides, and especially the musicianship you showed in the first solo. Aniket, it was delightful to witness how well you carried it out. Terence comments, “Aniket, you added a slide in the second portion and you did it with humor.

Terence said, “I must mention, there were two amazing dancers in Hollywood, Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. Their special quality was their humorous timing, and they could enjoy and play with it on a different level. Aniket, you were on par with these dance superstars.

Judge Sonali Bendre was also astounded by their extraordinary development.

“This has been Aniket and Anjali’s best act, in my opinion,” she remarked. I have been quite impressed by their development throughout their voyage. You’ve always been a skilled dancer, Aniket, and you immediately made the top 12.

“Anjali, you were a really powerful dancer, as seen by the way your development has been during this voyage and the changes we can see in your act. You demonstrated gentleness by using your strength, and as you exhibit softness, your strength grows. Anjali, you are now aware of it. Aniket, you are an excellent dancer, but when Kartik entered your life and started to groove with you, he helped you understand the little details and improved your dancing. The hard work of the preceding weeks is now showing since Anjali and Aniket are at a point where we can see it, the actress said.

The ‘Battle of The Best’ challenge will be included in the forthcoming episode of the dancing reality program. The competitors will dominate the stage as they demonstrate who actually rules the dance fight by putting their best dancing foot forward.
