The ‘Apurva’ trailer shows Tara Sutaria surviving an assault

The official trailer for the criminal drama thriller film “Apurva” has been published, after the publication of an intriguing and popular first look. With a dash of Bollywood, the trailer for this gritty and dark film blends aspects of dacoit drama and neo-noir, with actress Tara Sutaria playing a toughened survivor.

The first scene of the “Apurva” trailer has a feel about it that is eerily similar to the gritty, depressing aspects of shows like the Bollywood movie “NH10” or the American crime series “Breaking Bad.”

It opens in the midst of a desert with vicious robbers murdering victims, then switches to a more conventional Bollywood-style romance as Tara Sutaria’s heroine gets ready for her nuptials.

Apurva leaves for Agra with hopes of surprising her boyfriend on his birthday, but on the way there, a dacoit group targets her and hijacks her bus, posing a threat of assault.

Comedic legend Rajpal Yadav makes a highly unexpected appearance by eschewing humor to play a very serious and threatening thug. Apurva escapes from them and begins to hide from her captors when he orders his comrades to dump her in the desert after they’re done with her.

Rajpal Yadav orders his gang members to forget about the girl and informs them that they were going to steal a truck, with no regard for the girl, while he is hiding from them.

At this time, a much more vicious and nasty mobster named Abhishek Banerjee emerges, informing his boss that although he may pursue the truck, the girl is his first objective.

In the last scene, Apurva is hiding inside a well as Abhishek’s character searches for her and seems to discover her after presumably hitting someone in the head with a brick.

“I am overwhelmed by the immense love and appreciation that our first look has received,” Tara Sutaria remarked, describing her new endeavor. In terms of performance, “Apurva” has been the most demanding and fulfilling job I have ever taken on, and it also differs greatly from any other character I have ever portrayed. I was immediately drawn to this character because of her strength and fierceness. I had yearned for this position from the start of my career.

Tara, who relies on her inner power to survive and live, undergoes a drastically raw and furious change, as shown in the captivating graphics.

“It is always important to keep trying to innovate and do something different no matter what stage of life you may be in,” Rajpal Yadav added, outlining his responsibilities. “Apurva” was the ideal tale for me since I was searching for a part that I had never played before, something that would surprise today’s viewers, who are always seeking for something fresh.”

“This is one of the most fearsome characters I’ve played so far and to bring the necessary level of evil and menace in each scene was quite challenging but it was a great journey working with such an exemplary team,” said Abhishek Banerjee, who is also starring in the movie “Stolen.”

Nov. 15, 2023, sees the Disney+ Hotstar debut of “Apurva,” which was written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The film stars Tara Sutaria, Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa, and Rajpal Yadav in a distinctive ensemble cast.
