Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of actor Sushant Singh Rajpur, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to investigate the CBI’s investigation into her brother’s murder in a video message she released in March of this year. It has been 45 months since her brother’s death, and Shweta said in her statement that they have not received any updates from the investigating authorities. She said that the assistance of Prime Minister Modi would expedite the investigation and soothe “howling hearts.”

Namastey. I am Kirti Singh Shweta. I am the sister of Sushant Singh Rajput. This message is being recorded for our esteemed Prime Minister, Modi ji. I wanted to draw your attention to the fact that, after the passage of 45 months since Bhai’s death, we still don’t have any information on the CBI’s probe. As a family and as a nation, we are struggling with so many unanswered concerns in this issue; thus, I would strongly urge your assistance in the matter, Shweta Singh Kirti added.
