“The sisterhood is missing,” claims Meera Chopra, who claims that her cousins Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra offered her no assistance

The cousin of Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra, Meera Chopra, is eager for her next movie, Safed, to come out. On December 29, it will be released. Meera said in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan that she didn’t get any help from her relatives when she decided to pursue a career in entertainment. She said that there isn’t really a sisterly relationship between Parineeti and Priyanka.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Meera discussed her relationships with Parineeti and Priyanka Chopra. She said that Bollywood had let her down and that she didn’t want to be associated with any groups inside the sector. She said that she had been “absent” from all of the talks with the Chopra sisters. There was not enough intimacy between us right away for us to seem to be friends in this setting. That would be phony. However, I can tell that when three or four females onto the field, they support one another. I did not experience it. They never offered to assist, and I never asked for it. They never offered to help, and I’m not the one who begs for assistance,” she said.

Meera continued by saying that while she was close to Priyanka and Parineeti when they were younger, their relationship has evolved with time. Their family ‘don’t communicate since ages,’ Meera said, because of Parineeti. “When families don’t talk, I don’t want to cross that line and hurt my family,” the woman said. Parineeti’s family is not as wealthy as it once was. Priyanka’s family is very near to her heart. Although Priyanka has always been very kind, her sisterhood is gone… woh missing hai. And yet, my heart is not missing it at all. I’ve always offered that branch of affection, but woh bhi toh hona chahiye (Parineeti and I never felt like a family). My family and Priyanka are very close. It’s not me who’s missing the sisters. It was never given back.

Priyanka Chopra skipped the wedding earlier this year, choosing instead to attend her cousin Parineeti Chopra’s engagement ceremony in Delhi in May. In an Instagram Stories post, Priyanka included an old photo of Parineeti with the caption, “I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day little one..always wishing you so much love (red heart emoji) #newbeginnings @parineetichopra @raghavchadha88.”
