This actress was first selected for the Prabhas-starring film Varsham, not Trisha

Over the years, South actress Trisha has become one of the top actresses in the Telugu and Tamil cinema industry. The actress made her acting debut in the 2002 Telugu film Varsham, after making her debut in the Tamil film Mounam Pesidyadhe in 2002. Prabhas, Gopichand, and Trisha played the key parts. Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack for the Sobhan-directed action thriller. The movie was a huge smash and remained in theaters for more than fifty days. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the film’s silver jubilee celebration as a main guest. In 2016, the film was recreated in Bollywood as Baaghi, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. The movie brought Prabhas, who was already well-known as an action star, enormous popularity. However, did you know that the filmmakers did not first consider actress Trisha for the main role?

Actress Aditi Agarwal was reportedly the film’s initial option, according to media sources. The actress gained notoriety at the time for her performance in the 2003 film Gangotri, starring Allu Arjun. The director of it was K Raghavendra Rao. MM Keeravani wrote the movie’s soundtrack. In the end, the actress decided not to play the part in the film. According to reports, Trisha got her big break in the entertainment world because Aditi Aggarwal was unavailable. It should be mentioned that neither the performers nor the producers have yet to vouch for these assertions.

Trisha was most recently seen in the very successful box office film Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay. For this film, the actress and superstar Thalapathy Vijay got back together after a 15-year break. It was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. In the movie, Trish portrayed the main heroine. You may be shocked to hear that Trisha wasn’t the Leo filmmakers’ first choice for the film. Actress Sai Pallavi was first given the part of Thalapathy Vijay’s wife in the film, according to a Times of India story. The actress reportedly declined the part because she thought there weren’t enough scenes for her character in the film.

The next films starring Trisha are Vidaa Muyarchi (Ajith Kumar), Vishwambhara (Chiranjeevi), and Thug Life (Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam).
