The official trailer for the new courtroom drama series “Maamla Legal Hai,” starring Ravi Kishan, was released on Friday by the show’s creators.
“Welcome to District Court Patparganj, where justice is served with a side of laughter!” is the message that OTT platform Netflix wrote on the teaser they posted on Instagram. Maamla Legal Hai will debut exclusively on Netflix on March 1st.”

Get to know the Patparganj District Court attorneys: One clever lawyer who questions the lambe haath (long arms) of justice is VD Tyagi (Ravi Kishan). Ananya Shroff (Naila Grrewal), a recent addition to the cast and a fervent supporter of justice, is joining him. She is an alumni of Harvard Law School. Sujata Negi (Nidhi Bisht), the original Didi, stands in the background. She only wants her own air-conditioned room and hasn’t handled a single case yet. Not to be overlooked is Vishwas Pandey (Anant V Joshi), the court manager who likes to think of himself as Patparganj District Court’s Donna Paulson—a reference to the astute secretary from the hit television series Suits. “This is my first time donning the character of a lawyer and I can’t tell you how much fun it was,” Ravi Kishan stated in a statement about the episode. It was a pleasure to work with Sameer, Rahul, and Saurabh; their vision really motivated me. I couldn’t say no when they originally told me the plot of the program since I could totally see these individuals and their antics. This is my second production with Netflix after “Khakee,” and I like how they provide a variety of roles to push each performer to grow. “I hope ‘Maamla Legal Hai’ is as enjoyable to watch by the public as it was to make.”
