In South Indian film, Nandamuri Balakrishna is highly respected. He is renowned for his captivating on-screen persona, which secures successful projects and draws performers eager to work with him. Nevertheless, a notable actress declined a chance to work with the South star. The filmmakers approached Raasi for the role after Sakshi Shivanand turned down a role in the movie Krishna Babu. This actress is Sakshi Shivanand. Unfortunately, the movie did not connect with viewers and did not do well at the box office when it was first released in 1999.

Nandamuri Balakrishna played the main part in Krishna Babu, which was directed by Muthyala Subbaiah and featured Meena, Raasi, Abbas, Chandra Mohan, and other actors. Koti wrote the soundtrack for the film, which was produced by Chanti Addala and V Srinivasa Reddy under the label of Srinivasa Arts.

Sakshi Shivanand is well-known for her parts in popular South Indian and Bollywood movies. She has acted in movies like Master, Seetharamaraju, Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai, and Simharasi. Her most recent known cinematic appearance was in the 2014 Mahesh Babu-directed Kannada film Paramashiva.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, meanwhile, recently starred in Bhagavanth Kesari, which had its debut on October 19, 2023, during the Dussehra holiday. Leading parts were played by Sreeleela, Arjun Rampal, and Kajal Aggarwal in the Anil Ravipudi-directed movie. Under the Shine Screens label, Bhagavanth Kesari was produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, with music composed by Thaman S and cinematography by C Ramprasad. The film was shot on a budget of Rs 100 crore and brought in Rs 130 crore at the box office.
