Women’s competition and sharing a screen with five other women are topics Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditi Rao Hydari discuss

The premiere of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT first series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” is almost approaching. He presents six new actresses in the series: Richa Chaddha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sharmin Segal, Sonakshi Sinha, and Manisha Koirala.
Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sonakshi Sinha flew to New Delhi to attend the series trailer unveiling event.in a conversation with IndiaToday. They spoke about whether collaboration between female actresses still results in rivalry.

Manisha Koirala reflected on her past while recalling her matchup with Madhuri Dixit. “I did a film called ‘Lajja,’ and there were so many people there, including Madhuri Ji and Rekha Ji,” she said. Our camaraderie was amazing. Thus, we occasionally neglected to provide clarification when individuals wrote to us about conflicts. However, I believe that things have changed in the modern day. Women have spoken out, and there is a great deal of awareness. Furthermore, I don’t believe it’s very popular with today’s audience for women to fight.

Sonakshi Sinha has a distinct perspective toward female actors who participated in competitions while on site. According to the actress, the only way things have always been this way is that less would occur and more would be published about it. She also said that the primary goal of the entertainment business, as well as that of those who write about it, is to amuse. She did, however, say that she has really enjoyed working with this group of ladies. She stressed how great, helpful, and easy her time on set had been, and how much she had liked it.

Aditi Rao Hydari, who initially worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the 2018 film “Padmaavat,” and who is now collaborating with him again on “Heeramandi: Diamond Bazaar,” also offered her thoughts on the subject. The actress said, “In reality, it doesn’t happen; people prefer masala masaledar situations and feed on negativity. Furthermore, I believe that we really embrace one other’s individuality and that we are all aware of it, therefore it’s okay.

Since we are artists, you won’t discover any exciting news about any of the people seated here. The work speaks louder than any background chatter, rumors, or agitation that others may attempt to create.
“Heeramandi: Diamond Bazaar” is a breathtaking amalgam of everything amazing, and it takes place in pre-independence India.

The eight-part series revolves on the battle for dominance of Heeramandi, a kingdom governed by courtesans in the guise of queens, between arch-rivals Mallikajaan (Manisha Koirala) and Fareedan (Sonaskhi Sinha). Netflix will begin streaming the series on May 1.
