A video of an Israeli-American man held captive in Gaza was released by Hamas

Palestinian Territories: On Wednesday, the Palestinian organization Hamas made public a video in which an American-Israeli man was shown being kept captive in Gaza but was otherwise unharmed.
He was recognized by Israeli media as Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was abducted on October 7 during the Hamas raid on the Nova music festival in southern Israel.

“I went to hang out with my friends, and instead, I found myself fighting for my life with severe injuries all over my body,” he says in the video, whose time and veracity AFP has not been able to independently confirm.

Of the approximately 250 people kidnapped on October 7 during the Hamas raid, Israel thinks that 129 are still in Gaza, including 34 who the military claims are dead.
