T20 World Cup 2024: Ravi Bishoni optimistic about the selection of the Indian team

India’s Ravi Bishnoi, a spinner for the Lucknow Super Giants, is still hoping to be picked for the T20 World Cup.

But Bishnoi’s IPL-17 performance has been a little strange. In nine matches, he has bowled 25 overs and collected only five wickets, three of which came during the Powerplay.

In his most recent T20I encounter, Bishnoi only took two wickets in three games against Afghanistan.

It would be quite tough for the selectors to choose a third spin bowling option, since Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja are practically likely to be chosen in the team.

“I would prefer it if the selectors were the only ones doing this labor, but I still want to play it. It is my duty to contribute well to the side. In the last World Cup, I was on the standby list,” Bishnoi said on Monday.
