‘FART’ Team: What Is It? New Group of the Freedom Caucus Is Funny and Makes Memes

In order to keep an eye out for any unexpected resolution from their Democratic counterparts that would weaken their position in the House, Republicans in the US Congress recently formed their Floor Action Response team. But since the team’s abbreviation, FART, is close to the term “fart,” internet users began making fun of it.

The members of the FART team take turns keeping an eye out to make sure that the House does not approve any surprise resolutions that might undermine the House Freedom Caucus by unanimous agreement. After important votes on foreign assistance were held in the House, it was decided to be the FART team.

Prior to the House’s vote on the major foreign assistance bills, a few members of the House Freedom Caucus called for Speaker Mike Johnson to be removed from office. They disagreed with Johnson’s foreign assistance proposal in the House on a number of issues, and they expressed worries about its potential effects on the nation’s growing debt as well as its lack of border security measures.

A lot of individuals made fun of the team’s moniker, however, apart from the news’s serious aspects. After Politico Congress writer Olivia Beavers shared the news on X, several people made jokes about it. Here are a few comments made on her post.

“It sucks that some of the caucus members are so vocal. Some, nevertheless, are quiet yet lethal,” a user jokingly said.

Another person said, “I knew something stunk with that House “Freedom” Caucus.”

“Hold on. Is FART a genuine entity? Not satire?!!🤣🤣🤣,” wrote a second person.

Olivia, it isn’t really a thorough reporting. It’s the Wrong Every Time Floor Action Response Team, or WETFART, according to a source I know. The #WETFART group is an obnoxious and slick group. Writer-turned-journalist Denver Riggleman warned, “Be careful.”
