Imran claims that “One Day The Tables Will Turn” and that PDM is harming Pakistan by dividing the PTI

Imran Khan, a former prime minister of Pakistan, said that those in authority are attempting to destroy his party without taking into account the damage that would result to Pakistan as a result.

The government and Pakistan Army initiated a crackdown on the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and members of his party for assaulting army posts and equipment throughout Pakistan on May 9.

In retaliation for their leader’s arrest on May 9 in the Al-Qadir Trust case, PTI cadres stormed army sites, vandalized government property, and lit fires.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) held the former prime minister for more than two days before releasing him on May 12. However, during this time, PTI cadres battled with law enforcement, resulting in more than five fatalities, tens of thousands of injuries, and thousands of arrests.

No authority has ever persecuted its people as openly as it is being done currently in Pakistani history, not even under Musharraf and Zia’s martial rule, according to Imran Khan.

The former prime minister, who exuded confidence that he would win elections, said: “The way you are trying to destroy the political party with the biggest vote bank in the country means you are destroying democracy.”

Imran Khan said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), which is headed by Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-(N)), and Maulana Fazlur Rahman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), is violating human rights in Pakistan.

He further said that the PTI’s female members as well as the female PTI employees and lawmakers were targets of the government.

Imran Khan accused the administration of avoiding the polls and escalating the nation’s ongoing political and economic turmoil.

Khan said that he has heard rumors that the elections might take place in March 2024. They are evading elections, and now there are rumors that they may be conducted in March of the next year, stated Imran Khan.

He issued a warning to the PDM, predicted that “the tables will turn,” and said that the Pakistani people will not tolerate crooked leaders.
