In America, Indian ancestry sitting in a vehicle outside the house was shot dead

In New York, the US, an Indian-origin youth sitting in a vehicle parked in the parking lot outside his house was shot dead. The incident comes days after another Indian-origin was murdered in a similar manner in Maryland.

According to the New York Post report, Satnam Singh (34) was found injured in a parked vehicle at South Ozone Park in Queens at 3.46 pm on Saturday. There were bullets in his neck and torso. Satnam had borrowed a black Wrangler Sahara jeep from a friend. He was immediately rushed to the nearby Jamaica Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police said that the attacker had reached Satnam on foot, but neighbors say that he was in a silver colored car. While passing near Satnam's jeep, the attacker opened fire on him. According to neighbor Joan Capellani, 'Satnam reached the jeep parked in the parking lot from 129th Street and sat in it. Then the attacker passed by. He made a U-turn, came back, opened fire, and then fled to 129th Street. The incident was recorded on CCTV cameras installed in Capellani's home, which is being investigated by the New York Police. Detectives are trying to ascertain whether Satnam was the target of the attacker or the owner of the SUV.

It is noteworthy that just a few days ago, Telangana resident Sai Charan (25) was found injured after being shot inside his SUV in Baltimore, Maryland. He was taken to the trauma center, where he died on 19 June.
