Indian Student Attacked in Sydney by a Mob Chanting “Khalistan Zindabad,” Films Assault

According to a source, a group of Khalistani separatists assaulted an Indian student in Sydney, Australia, on Friday. The student was assaulted in Westmead, a district of Western Sydney, and decided to provide the news source his identity as Swapnil Singh, concealing his real name out of fear for his safety.

A group of Khalistani separatists hit Swapnil with iron rods while he was on his way to work, the foreign student said. On the left side of his face, he received a rod strike.

He claimed to have been in his work vehicle at the time when he abruptly saw a group of four to five Khalistani rebels approaching his vehicle. They began hitting him after opening the car’s left side door.

‘Khalistan Zindabad’ chants were being shouted as he was being beaten, and members of the crowd began filming the event.

“I drive for a living, and my car was parked about 50 meters from my home. These pro-Khalistan individuals appeared out of nowhere as soon as I sat in the driver’s seat. One of them opened the car’s left side door, and I was struck in the cheekbone under my left eye by an iron road. Four of them struck me from all sides while two of them recorded the incident on their phones, according to Swapnil.

Everything took place in less than five minutes, and as they departed, they told him that if that wasn’t enough punishment for rejecting the Khalistan issue, they were willing to offer him more.

The report made note of the fact that after the assault, locals and bystanders informed the New South Wales (NSW) Police about the occurrence. When the NSW arrived on the scene, they contacted for paramedics, who transported Swapnil to Westmead Hospital with critical head, leg, and arm injuries.

According to the article, Swapnil will have surgery to fix his arm. According to the report, Swapnil’s wounded arm is split open around the elbow.

The assault was denounced by Andrew Charlton, the Parramatta federal representative. “Extremism and all forms of violence have no place in our neighborhood. In our neighborhood, people should feel safe and secure. I’ve spoken to the appropriate authorities about this occurrence, and I’ll keep an eye on the matter as it develops,” Charlton was quoted as saying.
