Israel-Palestine War: According to the military, an Israeli airstrike killed the head of Hamas’ aerial forces

According to a report by Times of Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday announced the killing of a top member of the Hamas terror organisation in an overnight bombing in the Gaza Strip amid the steadily rising tension between warring Israel and Ghaza. According to media sources, Murad Abu Murad, the leader of Hamas’ aerial force, was killed in the attack.

According to reports, Abu Murad “took a big part in directing terrorists during the massacre” that took place over the weekend and included attackers who flew into Israel on hang gliders.

The IDF claims that several Hamas commando unit locations have already been struck.

Gaza Offensive by Israel
On Saturday, October 7, the armed branch of Hamas headquartered in the Gaza Strip started an unprecedented sequence of coordinated strikes against Israel that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people.

Since then, the onslaught has left more than 1,300 people dead in Israel while more than 1,530 people have died in Gaza as a result of Israeli counter-airstrikes.

Approximately 1,500 Hamas fighters were allegedly killed inside Israel, according to Israel.
