Man Arsons Himself Outside Trump Trial Courthouse, Says ‘Apocalyptic Fascist Coup’ is Being Planned by US Govt

Speaking to US news media agencies, a man known only as Maxwell Azzarello lit himself on fire outside the courthouse where former US President Donald Trump is being prosecuted in a hush money case on Friday (local time).

Terrified onlookers and media outlets saw and captured Azarello removing leaflets, scattering them, removing and dousing his body in a liquid accelerant, and ultimately setting himself ablaze.

The horrific incident and the aftermath, as rescue attempts were made by the police were captured on tape by security cameras positioned outside the Manhattan courtroom where former President Donald Trump is on trial.

When the event occurred, reporters from CNN, Fox News Channel, and MSNBC were discussing the jury selection process on the air, while other news organizations, such as The Associated Press, were live-streaming from the courtroom.

The individual hadn’t gotten past any security checks to enter the park; according to the authorities, he had just traveled from Florida to New York. According to a different NBC New York source, police think the liquid accelerant he was employing was a kind of alcohol-based cleaning solution.

Was Maxwell Azzarello a proponent of conspiracies?
Maxwell’s blog and social media sites showcased him as an investigative researcher. Just hours before he self-immolated, he claimed to be an investigative researcher in a Substack blog post.

After initially failing to put out the fire, they eventually succeeded in doing so, enabling the authorities to take him to the hospital.

The flames enveloped Florida resident Azzarello as he managed to go a few feet as he was burning, walking until he reached a police barricade. Due to the high-profile nature of the trial, police from the New York Police Department (NYPD) were there when he collapsed, and they hurried to put out the flames using what looked like a fire extinguisher. Others raced to put out the fire with their coats and other belongings.

The man’s body seemed to be sizzling from the burns, and witnesses and a CNN reporter said that there was a strong stench of burning flesh in the area.

He dropped flyers with a link to his Substack account, where he wrote a blog entry justifying his actions before to setting himself on fire. “I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial” was the heading of the blog post.

He said that the purpose of his “extreme act of protest” was to call attention to what he called a continuing “totalitarian con.”

They included material on Ponzi schemes, the idea that some of our local educational institutions are front organizations for the mob, and other information that bordered on conspiracy theory. According to news agency AFP, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said, “Although his condition is not good, he is still alive as of right now.”

According to the news agency, deputy police commissioner Tarik Sheppard said, “We just right now labelled him  a sort of conspiracy theorist, and we’re going from there.”

“We’re about to be hit with an apocalyptic global fascist coup by the government.” I sincerely apologize to my friends, family, witnesses, and first responders for causing you any suffering. Before setting himself on himself, Maxwell stated in the blog post, “But I assure you that it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict.”

In addition, Azarello sued the Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, Binance, Peter Thiel, Mark Cuban, Richard Branson, and Mark Zuckerberg last year, alleging that they had gained millions of dollars via dishonest business practices over a long period of time.

In his case, he said that “each of the defendants has knowingly conspired, participated in, and benefited financially from a decades-long fraudulent scheme.” He was detained twice in the previous year for violating Florida’s peace.
