Selecting 12 jurors for the hush money prosecution of Donald Trump

The hush money trial of former President Donald Trump in New York includes a jury of twelve members. Now, substitutes are being chosen.

The case accusing the Republican former president of fabricating financial documents to stifle reports about his extramarital affairs in the closing days of the 2016 election is rapidly moving toward opening remarks and weeks of testimony, thanks to the quick headway made on Thursday afternoon.

A software engineer, an English teacher, a salesperson, and many attorneys are on the jury. The lawsuit focuses on the $130,000 that Stormy Daniels, a porn star, received from Trump’s attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen. Trump is charged with 34 felonies. He disputes any misconduct.
