‘Send rockets to stars’ is Elon Musk’s message of peace amid tensions between Iran and Israel
Elon Musk seemed to make a plea for peace on Friday via his X account, hours after news of Israeli attacks in Iran.
Musk said in a post that “we should send rockets to the stars, not at each other.”
The wealthiest guy in the world also uploaded a picture of a rocket.
Musk’s statement also coincides with escalating hostilities between Israel and Hamas, as well as between Russia and Ukraine.
Days after Iran conducted a retaliatory drone assault on Israel, Israel struck Iran late on Thursday. Iranian state media said early on Friday that its troops had destroyed drones.
Israel had informed the US before of the operation, but the US was not participating, a source told news agency Reuters.
Three explosions were heard close to an army post in the Iranian capital of Isfahan, according to the Fars news agency.
A representative for Iran informed Reuters that Iran’s air defense systems had activated, causing the explosions, not a missile assault.
