In Mizoram, Heroin Worth Rs. 2.74 Cr. Was Found

Assam Rifles said on Sunday that three raids in Mizoram’s Aizawl and Champhai districts resulted in the seizure of heroin worth Rs 2.74 crore.

In these operations on October 20 and 21, the Assam Rifles, Mizoram Police, and the anti-narcotics unit of the Excise and Narcotics Department all found 394 grams of heroin, according to Assam Rifles authorities.

They said that a total of four persons were detained in the Champhai district’s Tlangsam and Zote villages, as well as the Bawngkawn neighborhood of Aizawl.
