According to the Times of India, Aryana Sanyal, the director of Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, said that IndiGo has been given the go-ahead to operate this new direct flight after receiving approval from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and finishing all the necessary paperwork.

“Indigo will launch a direct flight between Varanasi and Lucknow after completing other necessary procedures, including as receiving DGCA clearance. Every week, it will run on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The introduction of the flight is being made in response to rising demand from all demographics, according to Sanyal, who was cited by the site.

The flight will be run three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, according to the timetable posted on IndiGo’s website. The aircraft will take off at 2:20 PM from the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow and land at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi at 3:30 PM. Varanasi to Lucknow’s return trip will take place between 4:05 and 5 PM.

Customers who want to make a reservation for the flight may do so on IndiGo Airlines’ official website. According to the rate listed, a one-way trip from Varanasi to Lucknow would cost around Rs 2,500.

After increasing demand from diverse sectors of travelers between the two cities, a new airline route has been established.

In the past, IndiGo Airlines began flying between Mumbai and Durgapur in West Bengal and also resumed service between Mumbai and Kannur in Kerala. As of July 1, the new route is open for business.

With flights leaving Mumbai at 1:50 PM and landing in Kannur at 3:45 PM, IndiGo’s newest flight service is now available to passengers traveling from Mumbai to Kannur. The aircraft will depart Kannur at 4:15 PM and arrive in Mumbai at 6:00 PM for the return trip.
