After an oil tanker struck a divider and caught fire, a large fire broke out on a flyover in Ludhiana, Punjab. Black smoke billowed from the oil tanker, which had struck the barrier and toppled, covering the flyover.

The oil tanker caught fire, and the incident was recorded on camera from a vehicle a few meters away. Fuel was spilling from the upturned tanker, and two guys were taken out of it. The very volatile gasoline ignited three seconds after the crew was removed safely, and the tanker caught fire in less than a second.

For those near the oil tanker, it was a razor’s edge. A throng gathered on the overpass to see the overturned truck as other cars passed over the tanker. There have not yet been any reports of fatalities or significant injuries.

After arriving at the scene, emergency personnel are attempting to put out the enormous fire.

The incident caused traffic to stop and created chaotic scenes on the Khanna overpass in Ludhiana.

According to Rajesh Sharma, Khanna Deputy Superintendent of Police, the oil tanker was traveling from Jalandhar to a filling station located in Mandi Gobindgarh.
Its tire exploded as it got to the Khanna bus station flyover, causing the driver to lose control of the car. The officer said that when the tanker struck the barrier, it flipped to the side and began fire.

Thick, black smoke is seen shooting upwards in pictures and videos taken during the event as cars drive under the overpass.
