Bradhika Merchant and Anant Ambani Pre-Wedding Bash: Jamnagar Accompanied World’s Elite for Three Days; A Synopsis of What Took Place

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of businessman Viren Merchant and his wife Shaila Merchant, wrapped off their pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Sunday after three thrilling days. Later this year, the young pair plans to tie the knot.

The entire Ambani family was present for the celebrations, including Anant’s siblings Mukesh and Nita Ambani, chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Mehta along with their children Veda and Prithvi, and Reliance Retail CEO Isha Ambani along with her husband Anand Piramal and her children Aadiya Shakti and Krishna.

THOUGHTFUL EVENINGS
The events spanned three themed evenings. The first day’s theme was An Evening in Everland, and “elegant cocktail” was the suggested attire.

Day 2’s recommended attire was “jungle fever,” akin to A Walk on the Wildside. The event was held outside at the Ambanis Animal Rescue Center in Jamnagar, and attendees were asked to dress comfortably. After that, attendees changed from their safari-themed attire to more formal attire for Mela Rouge. The dress code for this event was “dazzling desi romance,” which suggested that everyone wear opulent traditional South Asian clothing.

Two things happened on the last day. The first, Tusker Trails, recommended “casual chic” attire since it was anticipated that visitors would want to spend more time taking in Jamnagar’s verdant atmosphere. Hastakshar, the last party, demanded a beautiful evening complete with traditional Indian attire.

A MASSIVE “MULTI-STARRER” IN BOLLYWOOD
Nearly every A-list member of the film business was seen at the occasion. The four Khans—Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir, and Saif—Anil Kapoor, Jeetendra, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Rani Mukerji, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, and Shahid Kapoor were there, along with Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek.

Karishma Kapoor, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Arjun Kapoor, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor, who are expecting a baby named Raha, Neetu Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is also bringing two kids, along with Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, are all going to Jamnagar for the gala.

The youthful brigade did not lag behind either; like many others, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Aryan and Suhana Khan, Orry, Sara, and Ibrahim Ali Khan created an impression.

BUSINESS BOSSES FORM BUZZ
Among the business titans in attendance were Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who gained notoriety for his interaction with an Indian chaiwala; Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg; Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra; Adar Poonawalla and his wife, Natasha, from Serum Institute of India; Gautam Adani from Adani Group; KP Singh, Chairman of DLF; N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons; and Lakshmi Mittal, Executive Chairman of ArcelorMittal.

POLITICS, CRICKET, AND THE LINK WITH SPIRITUALITY
The King of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the Isha Foundation’s Sadhguru, and Ivanka, the daughter of former US President Donald Trump, were all there.

Not long behind came celebrities from the cricket world as well. Not only did current players like Rohit Sharma attend the gala, but legends like MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar did too.

There were also political heavyweights like Uddhav Thackeray, Praful Patel, Eknath Shinde, and Smriti Irani.

POWERFUL ACTIVITIES AND ADORABLE FAMILY MOMENTS
Pop sensation Rihanna made her Bollywood debut thanks to the Ambanis, who also arranged for her to dance to “Zingaat” after the show and have some unforgettable moments with Indian police officers and photographers. On Day 3, there were further entries from American musician Akon, DJ Chetas, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, and Mohit Chauhan. Aside from a drone display, American illusionist and magician David Blaine kept the crowd spellbound.

In their touching addresses, the Ambanis celebrated Indian culture and encapsulated the spirit of Indian families. The dances that received the biggest applause were “Ghar more pardesiya” by Nita and Isha Ambani, “Pyaar hua ikrar hua” by Nita and Mukesh Ambani, “Aaj tere mere pyaar ke charche” by Radhika and Anant Ambani, “Khandala” by Shloka Mehta and Aamir Khan, and “Kesariya” by Akash and Shloka with Alia-Ranbir.

Highlights were the three Khans dancing to Naatu Naatu with Ram Charan joining them, Akshay Kumar’s intense performance, Diljit Dosanjh’s exciting performance and conversation in Gujarati with Nita Ambani, and Gallan Goodiyan and Dandiya from Ranveer-Deepika.
