Deity Kala Kameshwar receives a Rs 4 crore gold chariot

Yesterday, the presiding deity of Khelkothi, located in the Seraj region of the Mandi district, Kala Kameshwar, was placed in a gold chariot.

The symphony performed by local musical masters on instruments captivated the devoted attendees of the occasion. They all showed signs of joy and strong confidence in their favorite god as they danced to celebrate the occasion.

According to Nok Singh Thakur, pradhan of the Deity Kala Kameshwar Committee, the gold chariot was constructed with the generous donations of the deity’s devotees. The expense of preparing the chariot was over Rs 4 crore.

Numerous believers made sure to attend the consecration event. Gurs (orators) of the local deities from the Seraj region were also invited to the ritual, and all attendees were treated to a communal feast,” he said.
