Jalandhar: To celebrate the accomplishments and efforts of women, the DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology teamed up with the Nari Chetna Welfare Society to host an event. The event’s principal guest, Dr. Shruti Shukla, emphasized the need of providing equal opportunity for women in the workplace and in school.

Activities for kindergarteners

Jalandhar Cantt State Public School organized kindergarten-level activities. Among the activities during the event were constructing blocks, organizing toys, and solving riddles. Principal Savina Bahl was thrilled with the children’s performance.

There are 200 attendees at the job fair.

A job fair was held at the Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering and Technology in Phagwara with the cooperation of the Employment Exchange of Kapurthala. Participating in the expo were businesses including GNA Part, Hotel Cabana, Jio Fibre, Fine Switches, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, SBI Life, Kotak Mahindra, and LIC, among others. 98 out of the more than 200 pupils that attended the event were placed.

Pupils excel in the IKGPTU findings.

In the IKGPTU results, about 70% of students of St Soldier Management and Technical Institute received first division. Top scorers included Shilpa, who received a score of 9.00 SGCP (BAMC 3rd Sem), Simran Kumari, who received a score of 9.48 SGPA (BCA 5th Sem), Gurpreet Kaur, who received a score of 9.30 SGPA (BCA 5th Sem), Sameeksha, who received a score of 9.00 SGPA (BCA 1st Sem), Samreen, who received a score of 9.04 SGPA (BCom 5th), Anuj, who received a score of 9.00 SGCP (BCom 3rd Sem), Dimple Saini, who received a score of 10.00 SGPA (BSc FD 5th Sem), Rupinder Kaur, who received a score of 9.94 SGPA (BSc FD 5th Sem), and Manisha, who received a score of 9.82 SGPA (BSc, FD 5th Sem).

PM’s speech was broadcast live

At nine in the morning, Lyallpur Khalsa College employees and students gathered in the computer science and information technology department auditorium to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on live streaming, during which he laid the groundwork for three semiconductor projects in India’s Techade-Chips for Viksit Bharat. The Semiconductor Mission of the Central Government, which seeks to establish an end-to-end semiconductor ecosystem, was presented to the students. Students took part in a panel discussion on the benefits of the semiconductor plant after the speech. HOD Sanjeev Kumar Anand discussed how this effort would revolutionize the IT industry and improve people’s quality of life.

Soft skill workshop

The DAV College in Jalandhar’s Students Advisory and Welfare Council arranged a course titled “Ace your soft skills” with a focus on “resume writing, interview, and group discussion skills.” In all, more than 120 seniors took part in the program. The workshop’s resource person was Ruhani Kohli, the creator of Bullz Eye. The workshop’s main goal was to improve the students’ group discussion and interviewing abilities so they would have the necessary resources for job interviews.

Festival of World Youth

The faculty and staff of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya extended a warm welcome to Lovepreet Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur, Tanveet Kaur, Geetika Singh, and Vanshika Chandel, who recently represented India at the World Youth Festival in Russia. The 360 delegates that represented India on the international stage included the students. The pupils performed an Indian traditional dance during the celebration. They participated in an additional performance that was presented in association with the St. Petersburg squad.
