JGGLCCE 2024: Exam scheduled for February 4 postponed till further notice; updated dates will be announced soon

The Examination Controller of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has decided to postpone the Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE). The JGGLCCE 2023 test was unexpectedly canceled in all three shifts on January 28. Despite the fact that a number of students had already shown up for the recruitment exam, the government still made this choice. After that, the test that was supposed to take place on February 4 has also been rescheduled till later. It is currently anticipated that the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission would shortly announce updated dates for the JGGLCCE test.

The event involving the leak of paper on January 28 was the main cause of the sudden cancellation of the JSSC CGL test. This created a stir, prompting other contenders to challenge the government about the reason for the paper’s disclosure. In response, the administration said that it will file a First Information Report (FIR) on the test question paper leak. The test that was supposed to take place on February 4 has also been postponed, as per the commission’s specification that a comprehensive evaluation of the security procedures is now necessary. The commission will instantly post the updated dates on its official website as soon as they are determined.

According to the official announcement on the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission’s website, “The examination scheduled for February 4, 2024 under JGGLCCE-2023 has been postponed. This is because it is necessary to organize the examination after a thorough and complete review of all the security arrangements related to the said examination. As soon as feasible, the revised date of the aforementioned inspection, which was originally set for February 4, will be posted on the Commission’s website.

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission released a total of about 2017 positions for the JSSC CGL test. The posts that were available were approximately 863 for the role of Assistant Branch Officer, approximately 335 for Junior Secretariat Assistant, 252 for Block Supply Officer, five for Planning Assistant, 182 for Labor Enforcement Officer, 195 for Block Welfare Officer, and 185 for Circle Inspector Cum Kanugo.

After passing the soon-to-be-announced written tests, applicants will have their documents verified, and those who make the cut will be included on a merit list. Applicants can regularly check the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission’s official website to be informed about any updated dates.
