Meet the lady who scored 13 on the UPSC test at age 21 without any coaching and decided not to join an IAS because of

Some individuals are born “geniuses,” and because of their unrelenting drive, tenacity, and dedication, they achieve success at a very early age. One such remarkable success story is that of IFS Vidushi Singh, who at the age of 21 passed the UPSC on her first try.

Vidushi was raised in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, although her family is from Ayodhya. She started preparing for the UPSC after earning a BA Honors (Economics) from Delhi University’s esteemed Shri Ram College of Commerce in 2021. Instead of receiving instruction, she studied alone while in college.

At the age of barely 21, Vidushi then passed UPSC on her first try with AIR 13.Economics was an elective that she chose to take.

Even though she had a great rating, she decided to go with IFS rather than IAS. In an interview, she revealed that her grandparents’ aspiration was to join the Indian Foreign Service as a government official. She continued by saying she has taken several practice exams and test series in order to succeed in the UPSC exam.
