NEET UG: NTA chooses to hold medical admission exams at locations in 14 international cities

The National Testing Agency stated on Wednesday that the medical entrance test, known as NEET-UG, would also be held on May 5 in exam centers located in 14 overseas countries. The action was taken in response to queries from applicants to the National Testing Agency (NTA) since there was no mention of test-taking locations outside of India in the exam information bulletin that was sent out earlier this month.

According to NTA Senior Director (Exams) Sadhna Parashar, “it has been decided that the exam will also be conducted in 14 foreign cities in 12 countries.”

The exam will be held in 14 foreign cities: Bangkok, Thailand; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Doha, Qatar; Kathmandu, Nepal; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Lagos, Nigeria; Manama, Bahrain; Muscat, Oman; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Singapore. The exam will also be held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah (UAE).

There will be 554 test locations across India.
