Notes for school: Mohali’s Shishu Niketan

The school’s kindergarten wing enthusiastically observed Earth Day. We explained to the pupils the significance of “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.” The pupils of LKG presented a Hindi poetry, while Hinaya from UKG read a lovely English poem about Earth. A lively dance performance for environmental conservation was part of the program. The students promised to preserve the environment and use paper bags.

Patna’s Bhavan Vidyalaya

To commemorate the school’s 30th anniversary, a celebration was planned for the auditorium. The main guest of the occasion was Banwarilal Purohit, the Administrator of Chandigarh and the Governor of Punjab. He began the ceremony by lighting the ceremonial lamp, and then theatrical drama and dance acts were presented to highlight the journey of thirty years.

Panchkula’s DC Model Senior Sec School

For the 2024–25 academic year, the school hosted its first blood donation camp. Out of the roughly 260 individuals who enrolled for the camp, 181 decided to donate after receiving thorough medical examinations. Donors were recognized for their service with refreshments, awards, and mementos. Usha Gupta, the school’s director, sent her sincere thanks to each and every staff member and contributor for their efforts.

Convent School of St. Anne, Chd

A session for parents’ orientation was arranged in the school auditorium. The seminars drew over 2,000 parents, and Sarika Kapila, the school counselor, served as the event resource. The principals of St. Anne’s, Sijji Isaac, and MGN Public School, Jalandhar Kanwaljit Singh, expressed gratitude and gave the parents plants and keepsakes.

Panchkula’s Jainendra Public School

The school was filled with enthusiasm as they commemorated the birth anniversary of Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankar. The pupils were given an opportunity to learn about the life and teachings of Mahavira during a special assembly.

Mohali’s Shemrock Senior Sec School

The pupils’ accomplishments were celebrated with an achievers award ceremony. About 90 kids were recognized for their 100% excellence, and about 60 pupils from classes 6 through 10 were given medals for their academic achievement.

P’kula’s Shishu Niketan Public School

On the school grounds, Earth Day was observed with great enthusiasm. Students in the neighborhood planned a demonstration with the intention of raising awareness and fostering a relationship between humans and the natural world. The young children also put on a performance to emphasize the need of protecting the environment.

Mani Majra, DC Montessori Senior Sec

Prep 2 pupils at the school were given a tour of the traffic park as part of an education program regarding traffic laws and regulations. Staff from the Chandigarh Traffic Department gave a discourse to the little children about safety and cautionary traffic laws.

Prakash Vidyalaya, Amravati

The school held a bulletin board decorating project in honor of “World Earth Day.” With the addition of large globes and other vibrant materials to adorn their classroom bulletin boards, each kid showed remarkable skill.

Mohali’s Gian Jyoti Global School

On its premises, Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated its 50th anniversary with a bhog of sehaj path. Kirtan songs, which carried the spirit of tradition, wisdom, and blessings for the school’s ongoing prosperity, filled the halls with a devotional mood.

Mohali’s Infant Jesus School

Together with teachers, the children in grades 9A and 9C appropriately observed Earth Day. A skit was performed during the celebration to really highlight the significance of the occasion and to remind the kids of their responsibilities to the environment and to nature.

Campus remarks from Mohali’s Rayat Bahra University

The institution planned a demonstration on “World Liver Day” to raise awareness of the serious health problem. The “No Liver, No Life” campaign made clear how important it is to take coordinated action. Pharmacy students actively participated in the demonstration.

Punjab University

Today was International Earth Day, observed at the Sanskrit Department. Professor VK Alankar said that as people are prone to transgression, acting responsibly is crucial. Drs. Vijay Bharadwaj and Satyan Sharma, faculty members, discussed Indian culture and our active role in preserving the environment.
