Record-breaking Performance by Jamia at RCA! 31 JMI Residential Academy Students Pass the UPSC CSE Exam

UPSC CSE Result 2023: Eight more students than the previous year passed the Civil Services Main Exam (2023) out of 31 students from the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Center for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). Thirty-one of the seventy-one RCA students who showed up for the interview were chosen. The institution declared that Nausheen, who placed ninth overall in India, is the top performer from the RCA this year. Of the 31 chosen applicants, 11 are female.

Of the thirty-one applicants that were chosen, some are anticipated to get IAS and IPS, while the other candidates, based on their ranking and preferences, are likely to receive IRS, Audit & Account Service, IRTS, and other linked services of Group-A. “From 2010–11 to 2024, RCA has produced over 300 civil servants, many of them are in the IAS, IFS, and IPS. Additionally, more than 300 students have been chosen for a number of other central and state agencies, including PCS, RBI (Grade B), APF, Bank PO, and CAPF, among others, according to a statement from Jamia Millia Islamia University.

The RCA receives funding from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to provide residential facilities and free coaching to students getting ready for civil service examinations. Under the auspices of the Center for Coaching and Career Planning (CC&CP), JMI, the UGC founded RCA in 2010 to provide free coaching and residential facilities to students who identify as SC, ST, women, or minorities in preparation for competitive exams such as the civil services. Individual interviews are conducted after the administration of an all-India written exam to determine which students would get complete coaching.

A comprehensive, well-organized coaching and personality development program is offered by RCA. This includes counseling throughout the Prelims, Main, and Interview phases of the exam, as well as more than 500 hours of classroom instruction, special lectures by prominent academics and senior government employees, group discussions, test series, and mock interviews. In addition, the Academy offers free wifi and air-conditioned library spaces that are open around-the-clock. The Academy offers handy and secure dorm accommodations. “The top performer from the RCA, JMI was Shruti Sharma, the UPSC Civil Services Exam topper, prior to last year,” the university said.

UPSC CSE Findings 2023
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the Civil Services (CSE) Final Result 2023 on Tuesday, April 16, at upsc.gov.in and https://upsconline.nic.in. The UPSC CSE Final Result 2023 is available for download at upsc.gov.in for candidates. As per the following breakdown, 1016 people in total have been proposed for appointment.
