RSMSSB hiring 2024 for junior assistants and LDCs: Announcement for 4197 positions; begin applying online on February 20; see information here

The Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board has published a notice soliciting online applications for many positions as a Lower Division Clerk (Grade II) and Junior Assistant.
The letter states that on February 20, 2024, qualified individuals may register for the 4197 openings. March 20, 2024 is the deadline for registering on the official website, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
The RSMSSB Junior Assistant and LDC Vacancy 2024 notice has a total of 3552 junior assistant openings and 645 lower division grade 2 jobs.The Scheduled and Non-Scheduled zones split apart these openings.

A written exam is the first step in the selection process for the RSMSSB Junior Assistant and LDC Recruitment 2024. Document verification and a medical examination come next. On the official website, candidates may get further information about the selection procedure.
The notification makes it clear that candidates chosen for Junior Assistant roles in State Government subordinate departments and offices through the Administrative Reforms Department, Rajasthan Public Service Commission, and Government Secretariat Clerk Grade-II posts will be assigned on the basis of merit and priority. Therefore, while submitting an online application, candidates must specify their preferred department and postal code. If not, these choices will determine how departments are distributed. The Administrative Reforms Department will receive the chosen applicants for further allocation.
Qualifications and eligibility criteria
In order to qualify for the role, applicants need to fulfill the following particular educational requirements:
Senior Secondary completion from an accredited Board or an equivalent test.
completion of a computer concept certificate program offered by NIELIT, New Delhi; a “O” or Higher Level certificate program administered by DOEACC under the auspices of the Department of Electronics, Government of India; or a certificate in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) organized under National/State Council or Vocational Training Scheme.
Having completed the Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT), which is run by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University in Kota and is overseen by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited, or any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government. Having a degree, diploma, or certificate in computer science or computer application from an institution established by law in India or recognized by the government. Having completed the Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the Country with computer science or computer application as one of the subjects.
proficiency with Devanagari script for writing Hindi and familiarity with Rajasthani culture.
Candidates who match the educational qualifications for the position may also apply even if they are in their last year of a qualifying study.
Pattern of exams for the recruitment of Rajasthan LDC and JA in 2024
There are two stages to the examination process for junior assistant and clerical grade jobs. Two question papers each in General Knowledge, Daily Science, Mathematics, and General Hindi and English comprise Phase I. Each three-hour paper is worth 100 points. Phase II comprises a speed and proficiency exam and two 10-minute computer typing assessments in Hindi and English. The average of the Phase I marks will be awarded to candidates with impairments.
