Today at upsc.gov.in, the UPSC NDA and CDS I Notification 2024 is anticipated to be released

It is anticipated that the notice for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) I, National Defence Academy (NDA), and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be announced shortly. According to media sources, the announcement could be made available today, December 20. On April 21, 2024, the CDS 1 and NDA, NA 1 examinations will be held.

When the announcement is made, those who want to take the test may visit UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in. January 9 is the deadline for submitting online applications for the CDS and NDA tests. The NDA and CDS admission cards should be sent out three weeks before the test, according to historical patterns.

The Combined Defence Services, National Defence Academy, and Naval Academy Examinations are administered by the UPSC twice a year. While the notification date is May 15, 2024, the second part of the examinations for NDA, NA II, and CDS II is planned to take place on September 1, 2024.

UPSC CDS, NDA & NA 1 SCHEDULE: CRITERIA FOR Eligibility

Educational Requirements: In order to sit for the NDA test, candidates must pass Class 12. To be eligible for CDS, one must have graduated from an accredited institution. To enter the Navy, one needs an engineering bachelor’s degree, but to enroll in the Air Force Academy, one also has to have completed Physics and Chemistry in Class 12.

Age requirement: Applicants for the NDA test must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old. On the other hand, applicants taking the CDS test for the Air Force and Navy must be between the ages of 19 and 23, while candidates for the Officers Training Academy must be between the ages of 19 and 24.

There are two stages to the UPSC NDA and CDS exams: a written test and an interview round. There are two exams in the written test (mathematics and general ability), totaling 900 marks. The general ability exam is worth 600 points, while the mathematics paper is worth 300. Each paper has a 150-minute length. Exams for IMA, INA, and AFA jobs are administered by UPSC CDS. The test consists of three papers: rudimentary mathematics, general knowledge, and English language. There are 100 marks available for each test, and the exam lasts two hours.
