UPSC 2023 Result: Aishwaryam Prajapati, Air Force 10, Passes the Civil Service Examination on Her Second Try

UPSC CSE 2023 Result: In her second try in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, Uttar Pradesh’s Aishwaryam Prajapati achieved an All India Rank of 10. Aishwaryam said that her childhood ambition was to become an IAS after the UPSC results were announced. Since class tenth, she has had a very clear objective, she said.

Aishwaryam, who is originally from Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, attended Rani Lakshmibai Senior Secondary School till class twelve. She subsequently completed her BTech at NIT Uttarakhand (2016–20 batch).

In reference to getting ready for UPSC, she said that perseverance and hard effort were needed to finish this trip. She advised students to follow their interests when asked for guidance on how to prepare for the UPSC. She said, “This will provide you with the inspiration you need for this journey.”

Speaking about the method that led to her UPSC success, Aishwaryam said that the kind of learning occurring is more important than the quantity of hours studied. She said that planning is also vital and that studying is more important than keeping track of hours. Aside from notes, newspapers, practice answering questions, and novels were helpful, she added.

Aishwaryam graduated from NIT Uttarakhand with a BTech. She then obtained employment at L&T, where she spent the next eighteen months. She goes on to state that while she never doubted her ability to pass the UPSC, she never did anticipate placing 10th. This is a welcome surprise, now. I’m overjoyed,” she said.

On April 16, the UPSC CSE 2023 results were revealed. A total of 1016 individuals have been proposed for appointment, while 355 candidates have had their candidacies held on hold. 347 applicants from the general category, 115 from the EWS, 303 from the OBC, 165 from the SC, and 86 from the ST categories make up the total number of chosen candidates. The exam’s best scorer was Aditya Srivastava from Uttar Pradesh, who was followed by Animesh Pradhan in second place and Donuru Ananya Reddy in third.
